brent is an incredible dad, so we wanted to give him a great father's day. we all made him beautiful father's day cards.


and what more could a jewish girl do to prove her love to her man than to cook an entire package of bacon for him on father's day?? nope, i can't think of anything either.

faye has been spending time with wills twice a week all year while i was out visiting teachers all over central texas. wills LOVES faye. sunny loves her too, so much that she would complain all the way to school when we would leave wills and faye at home. wills and sunny both got some faye time after school was out and lucky for them, amir came along to hang out too. they got to do that again last week, and i think you can tell by the smiles on their faces how they felt to be with their good friends.

lucky for us amir is NOT going to law school in baltimore, but instead is keeping it real, and keepin' it texan at the university of houston. we can't wait for their houston adventure to end so they can be back in austin where they belong, because let's be honest, mama and dada have a love affair goin' on with faye and amir too.

summer time is rolling along. we are soaking it up with loved ones and plenty of water time (because it is freakin' HOT!).

first day of school for wills!!

momma had an emotional morning sending my sweet william off on his first day of school. i kept thinking about precious memories all morning of the little baby that he used to be. now he is such a big boy! he did great at drop off, immediately diving into the sand box. momma, on the other hand, bravely made it to the car before she burst into tears. whew, what a day. here are the pumpkins before we left the house.
