sunny had her last dance class of the school year last week and parents were invited to watch. i can't think of a better way to spend a morning!

there is an endless list of things that make sunny and wills happy. here is a couple of examples:

dancing with "fairy wings" (made out of night gowns) and a cape. oh, and add to that, it makes wills SOOO happy when sunny is willing to hold hands with him. he becomes king of the world!

ok, bounce houses may be one of the best modern inventions for los ninos. this is ESPECIALLY true when you go to one with one of your great friends, brynna, and there are only two other kids in the entire place!!

Today, Sunny, Wills, and I (daddy) all went to the Capitol building. You know, that building where those really smart people do great things in order to make our state better. Well, oops, they forgot to fund education. We were there to remind our elected officials that education does matter and that the people want it. This was the kids' first trip inside our beautiful Capitol. Hell, any education.

sunny got her toes painted for the first time, and momma made the sacrifice of getting a mani pedi at the same time so she could appreciate the experience :) notice how the lady gave sunny a flower on each of her toes, needless to say, it was a hit!

well folks, we just returned from our THIRD road trip in april. are we tired? yes. did we play the most fun/infuriating/random/desperate game of "i spy" ever played from bastrop to austin? yes. was it worth it to spend time with our wonderful family? absolutely. there will be more to follow (of course), but here is the musical introduction to the humble wrap up… ( filmed on location at mammaw and papa ed's house)
