saying that sunny was extremely excited to have daddy visit her dance class would be an understatement.




daddy loved watching his big girl do all of her incredible moves.




she even had a solo!




then, when she is at home, she passes on her skills to baby bro, what a great big sister!

i have committed a HUGE foul, so apologies in advance to all of you grandparents out there. i sat in on sunny's dance class the other day and quickly found out that i had no juice in my camera battery!!! the horror! this is all of the footage i was able to get. i can tell you two things: 1- i will return and make it up to all of you, and 2- that class was the cutest thing ever, like eye burning cute.

wills achieved his peak moment of the trip on saturday afternoon. he discovered that he could play and sit in the mud...heaven. sunny decided to skip the digging and do a little fishing. yummy meal she planned for us, huh?




sunny and runa could not have been cuter playing peekaboo. as soon as we discovered the girls, they were ready for another round!

serious packing people, hours of packing for a three day trip!




there was some peek-a-boo action in the car on the way,




and a sweet nap (that of course did not last long enough).




we even stopped at a dq in burnet for an afternoon treat. i don't think wills opened his mouth enough for the ice cream to get in.

we have been on lots of camping trips, but none have been more challenging, or more awesome. not even close. wow.

happy halloween!

poor wills was sick the week leading up to halloween, but he still got to dress up at home with his handy dandy cape (every kid should just have one kickin' around, thanks gammy!).

sunny made a fantastic rainbow,(thanks again gammy!) and got her face painted at the school halloween party!

mammaw and papa ed weekend

we were so happy that mammaw and papa ed came to visit! we started the weekend with daddy's incredible corn style pancakes.





we went to the austin zoo and had a fantastic time. of course we took a train ride.

Then, after mammaw and papa ed left to go back to humble, we ended up going to a great benifit at the nutty brown cafe. we did it all, from arm painting to jammin out to hard rock kiddo music, to munchin on some corny dogs, wooooweee!







what a weekend!

park time

gammy and gan gan came to town last weekend and we all had a great time at the park.

sunny made sure that gan gan got his upper body work out by allowing him to push her one billion times on the swing.




and wills made some yummy treats with the rocks while somebody relaxed (not namin' any names here!).

fall has finally arrived and that means everyone wants to be outside all of the time to enjoy the wonderful weather!

here, sunny schools us on some PE, and wills wows us with his acrobatics.




and wills has been having a ton of great adventures with his good friend faye. here they are at the park.

we took the first ever christensen family canoe trip last weekend and it was complete and total greatness.

we had an incredible celebration for sonia rose on saturday. thanks to everyone who came and made the day so special. the best part was that sunny had a blast!! there are pics to come, but for now i will post the birthday serenade for sunny bunny.

she doesn't know it, but today is sunny's special day. our big girl turns three and what an incredible three years it has been! thank you sunny for making every second so special. you are amazing. (ps- we'll tell you about your birthday on saturday!)

shana and bean's wild adventure

shana and i hit the road with two kids and a dog to make the trek to fort worth. we had a wonderful weekend visiting the berenzweig family, seeing some funky town sights, and catching up with old friends. thanks for being a great partner (wink wink) in crime shanks! oh, and if you are thinking that these pics are unusually great, it's because most of them were taken by the brilliant shana.

well, sunny run-run and dada set out on our own adventure to silent h-town to see uncle bebo get married. man, what an adventure. congrats, bredo and cindy...









we both had tons o fun playing with big bebo, dancing and singing with cuz camron, and reading with aunt leela. ahh, "the digginest dog".
