sunny has been sleeping with her paci (pacifier) since she was a little baby and she has now become the beautiful big girl we all know and love and it was time to give up the paci. we told sunny all about the glorious paci truck. rafa drives it to our house, sunny gives him all of her pacis and he delivers them to all of the little babies who need pacis. in return, sunny would receive presents from rafa to thank her for sharing her pacis with the little babies. This was the story we repeated for weeks, trying to get sunny mentally prepared for the separation from her beloved paci. then the day came, (when momma and daddy were brave enough to actually follow through with the plan) and the paci truck arrived. we were so happy that gan gan was here to witness the big event. amazingly, the whole plan worked out perfectly!! sunny gathered up her pacis and put them in the paci sack (great idea rafa) herself! she has been doing great without her paci ever since and even with a few whimpers have never asked for it since! hooray for our big girl!
