our big boy is 3!!!! hooray for wills!!
it was quite the build up to the big day this year. each morning at breakfast wills would report that he dreamed about his birthday. every time he thought of a cool toy or game, we wanted it for his birthday. every friend and family member would be reminded that his birthday was coming... and finally it did (though, he did not turn 5 as we thought he would, but three is still a mighty big number)! our boy had a blast! now the waiting until the next birthday begins...
Of course there was a piñata, picked out by wills. its' iron man! (or idol man, as wills pronounces it)
before the beating began, wills gave his friend a big hug and kiss.

happy birthday dada!
it has been hard being the older and wiser one all the time, so brent had his birthday and now i'm just wiser (hahaha). his birthday event lasted a week and he brought in 35 right. the kids and i surprised him with a cupcake party after work on his actual day. we did decorations and from scratch icing!
