we LOVED riding the gondola in breckenridge. what a great way to see the beautiful sights in the mountains! it got to the point that every time we approached the gondola, wills would scream, "who loves the gondola??"... and would continue to scream it until we all raised our hands and yelled "meeee" in unison. i think we may have a future camp counselor on our hands! here is footage from our maiden voyage up the mountain.

the first hike

as i mentioned before, the plane ride and journey to Breckenridge went off without a hitch. BUT, what i didn't say was that after we arrived, our overly excited, overstimulated, non-napped kiddos had a rough time of it throughout the afternoon. here's an example of what happened:

the kids did great on the plane both ways. maybe it was the early flights, maybe it was the excitement of being on the plane, or maybe it was the ipods loaded with their favorite tv shows and the emergency lollipops!
