Viva Mexico!

we were SO lucky to get to visit the ingrams in sayulita, mexico.  though it was strange to venture south of the border without daddy, we had such a great time!  the kids were naturals abroad and did such a great job traveling (i'm blocking out the trip home as i type this).  the best part of it all, better than the beautiful mexican coast, was spending time with barry and eepers (now called "beepers" when they are together) and runa and mars.  those ingrams are so so special.  i will forever be grateful for their love and hospitality.

This is a video i made unintentionally.  somehow my camera created a video from the pics i took one morning.  the still pics are great, but i love how this collage of video captures the magical mornings at the ingram's casa.  now, if i could only figure out how i did that!!

just got back from a trip to the coast with the ingrams.  it was dreamy!  to set the scene, i give you pics from the first day.

we thought the kids would just dip their feet since it was so late when we got there.  we thought wrong.

Just a quick note about our little violinist.

Sunny started violin a few months ago. We thought she might play the piano that Mammaw and Papa Ed gave us but she kept talking about the violin even though we had never seen a violin. At least we hadn't together. Go figure. Here she is at her first lesson. Dada has sincerely loved taking the kids to lessons over the past months. And here she his a couple months later with her first memorized recital. New York Philharmonic here we come!!!

oh man, did we have a snowy adventure during spring break!!  we had to leave a day early to beat a blizzard, and beat it we did!  we made it to beautiful breckenridge and got to enjoy REAL SNOW...for days!  what a treat!
