seasons changing

spring break, and sunny stayed home from school for the week, which meant she FINALLY got to go with faye and wills to the ever mythical weekly trip to story time at the library (in addition to a ride in faye's car. the coolest!). she was thrilled, and got to pick out her very own library books.

the ultimate sign that summer is upon us, the inaugural play session with the water hose.

music in the air

sxsw (south by southwest) is happening in austin, and though we aren't out in the action, music is definitely in the air in our fair city. sunny, wills and i are really into the new adele album and one of our favorite songs came on the radio. a dance party ensued.

spring gardening

Spring has sprung in the atx and it is the perfect time for some plantin'! You may get the impression that daddy did most of the work, but let's not forget the importance of throwing dirt on the driveway, playing, doing cheers, and most importantly, manning the camera. I think you will see that sunny, wills and momma really put their blood, sweat, and tears into this project.

daddy got to go on a little birthday adventure by himself. while he was gone, the three of us worked together to make a birthday treat!

we heart mammaw and papa ed

it's always the best when we get to see mammaw and papa ed. when they came to visit last time, they got to see sunny and wills experience pizza for the first time (this milestone is especially important to their daddy). sunny and wills have always been down on trying out pizza from actual delicious pizza joints here in atx, so we tried a different approach, home made pizza by the chefs known as sunny bunny and bubby wills.



it was a success.




poor papa ed could not get a nap in. wills insisted on waking him up in a variety of loud and creative ways. at one point, papa ed lucked out since wills tried the sleeping beauty approach to waking people up and gave him a big 'ole smacker!

mammaw and papa ed got some snuggle time with the kiddos as they got to experience the glory of the wonder pets (great show, oscar worthy performances here).
